Namaste Kingston

I ordered a takeout last day and really git very small portion and was very expensive.Also the food was not that great.

Thrice I went there ...awesome taste , beautiful interior , nice people .I love this restaurant😍😍👍u will be having lots of food choices

We made a reservation for Valentine's Day, got put in a closet back room with a blasting speaker and drab decorations. We waited for an hour and forty minutes to get our main meal, and skipped our appetizer. The staff were really kind, and did all they could, but it's unfortunate that the management didn't handle the situation better by explaining the delay. The food wasn't worth it, drowned in butter, overcooked rice, where they hope the brass bowls would compensate the lack of food presentation. I had large fruit pits hidden in my meal that are capable of breaking a tooth, and tough spices that should have been removed. It's unfortunate, but we have no desire to go back.

The only thing I really order is the samosa chat trio and it's pretty good but I feel like there's something missing in it. I also feel like it saying "vegeterian samosas" but only giving one cut in half is a bit misleading. Otherwise their food is quite solid.

We ordered takeout last night, for our first visit to Namaste. We were delighted. Everything we had was delicious and interesting in it's own way. The crispy, salty samosas with magical creamy potato filling, with mango chutney drizzled into it is something to behold. Finally we have good Indian food in Kingston. I really hope this restaurant survives the apocalypse. See you again soon and thanks.

By far the best Indian Food in the city! Everything on their menu is so thoughtful and they’ve paid attention to all the little details in their service (hot towels, fresh flowers at every table, amazing servers, fennel seeds at the end of the meal) so eating here is an incredible experience. So excited that Kingston finally has excellent Indian food in the city!

Good food with great service. But it is little bit expensive

Three of the items we attended for were unavailable, including the wine we selected. We did have delicious food once we decided what to order, and the wait staff were exceptional. Our white wine arrived warm, but in an ice bucket. Their alcohol selection is small. The menu is extensive, which may explain why many of our choices were not available. Also the wait staff were not updated on what was out of stock and in stock, so ordering took a while. Overall, nice place, but there are so many phenomenal restaurants in Kingston featuring this style of food, I would go elsewhere in future.

We had a wonderful dinner. The food was great, the service very attentive and friendly and the pace of the meal was perfect. The newly renovated space was warm and inviting.

Best Indian food in Kingston! Authentic dishes and actual traditional butter chicken. .Amazing! Won't go anywhere else in town for Indian food again. Only suggestions for the owners would to be to put the lights on dimmers. It was really bright for dinner out in a restaurant.

Worst experience ever, food is good if you haven’t tasted Indian food ever, fooling people. Not at all good, flavourless, representing wrong picture of Indian food, vegetables floating in oil, flat naan, you can tell it’s not fresh, rice were not basmati. Bad customer service.

Had an amazing meal at Namaste. My first curry experience was at Curry Village and it was the best meal of my life. They closed shortly after and I've been searching for that taste ever since. I've tried every Indian place in Kingston and never got close til now. I'd say the food is just as good, very generous portions and a great atmosphere. We'll be back!

Went for a dinner with my friend. It's a lovely place, very nice ambience. You can go there for a romantic date. I like the fact that we were served complimentary papadums. The staff are very friendly, helpful and attentive. The food was very good, arrived within expected time. The reason I gave it a 4 out of 5 is because the 1) chicken kadahi was extremely spicy, even though I am used to spicy food and 2) It is a nice Indian place in kingston, much better than a few others, but if you are looking for the authentic Indian flavor, it is not found.

Amazing dining experience from start to finish - the staff were warm, welcoming, attentive and knowledgeable. The food was amazing! Best butter chicken in the city. Would definitely recommend the biryani as well. I'll be back!

Authentic delicious Indian Cuisine Wow Wow for excellent food and ambience. If you want authentic Indian food then Namaste is the place to go. We have been to best Indian restaurants in Toronto but Namaste was great --- food quality, service and ambience. Just rightly spiced. Amazing Butter Chicken and Rogan ghost. Will surely visit again.

Eating at Namaste Kingston was a JOY! There are plenty of vegetarian / vegan options (the Aloo Gobhi is to die for!), the servers were all kind, and the food??? It was the best tasting Indian food I have had in Kingston! Do yourself a favour and check out this restaurant. (P.S. the mango juice is freshly made too!)

My husband and I tried Namaste by chance after we discovered that Curry Original was closed when we were looking to get lunch. It was a wonderful experience and the food was amazing - the best Indian food either of us have ever eaten! The servers were gracious and the chef came to speak with us. We highly recommend the scallops! We both had the korma and it was superb! Excellent flavours! We are already planning our next visit!

Absolutely perfect dining experience. Unique cusinine to Kingston. Service was beyond professional. On repeated visits food was plentiful, flavourful and spot on in temperature. Smiles and hugs are free.

First real and authentic Indian restaurant in Kingston that's actually owned and run by Indians, and not Pakistanis or Bangladeshis. There's lots here that'll set it apart from the other so-called Indian restaurants in the city. The ambience is warm and premium, curries and biryanis are delicious (tad bit spicy, so order accordingly and they'll customize), all breads are fresh (not store bought) and hospitality is friendly. The thali portions and selections are out of the world, many can't finish it in one sitting! Thank you 'Namaste Kingston' for making Indians in Kingston feel a little closer to home! :)

We had a wonderful dinner at Namaste on Thursday evening to celebrate our anniversary. The food was scrumptious & the service Is very attentive and friendly. Beautiful ambiance with soothing light Indian music. Special thanks to Chef Suraj for making our anniversary dinner extra special.

Finally a decent Indian restaurant Kingston deserves. Most of the items we tried were great. Dum Biryani was not authentic, a real Hyderabadi style would make the menu a near perfect one.

Service was good and reasonably fast. The food was consistently tasty and high quality. The Naan in particular set itself apart as better than usual. Would dine here again. Nice ambiance.
